Located near Tygh Valley, White River Falls roars loudly in the spring from snow melt. There you’ll find sharp rocks, dry earth, and dead trees above dizzying heights. The smell in the air from powerful water pounding against the rocks is similar to the smell of fresh rain. I tried to capture the falls for what they are. Beautiful, dangerous, and full of life. This balm carries notes of moss, fresh water, bergamot, and new tree growth.
